2024 Season- Event #1

At the end of 1454 L.K. the Gnome Council sealed the gates of Myth’gar. While only one winter has passed in the realms of Valhalla, Folkvangr, and Helheim, three years have passed in the Myth Wood. The Crystal Bearers of Templum Bellatorum were placed in a controlled sleep by the Hunter, and the Crystal Bearers of the Magi Temple were placed in crystal suspension by Hero’win Mytherin. Those not in temples have had to fend for themselves with diminished supplies.

The Black Crystal Bearers of Tempelbrent Kopp O’Nudler were restricted to the boundaried area of Myth’gar they had made. Yet with three years to build and make ready, the Great Ramen Empire has never been stronger.

At the Gnome Council meeting of 1458 L.K. a disguised member of the Blood of Magnus poisoned and killed half the Council. An alliance between the Blood of Magnus and the West Myth’gar Trading Company has now led to the realm being unsealed, and the return of the Crystal Bearers from other realms.

Leading this return are the three guides; Vala, Nobu, and Johnny. Their adventure in Folkvangr complete, they return to the Myth Wood with a strange black cube with chains securing it.

The time of blade and blood comes again. Will the Crystal Bearers be able to build a lasting foothold in the realm this season? Will the Black Crystal Bearers capture all of Myth’gar? Will the crown of the Myth Wood find a head to be placed on? What now is the status quo for the Gnomes? Join us on May 18th to answer some of these questions.

Welcome to the First Myth Wood L.A.R.P. event of 2024. We will start setting up and character check in at 9:00 a.m. Scenario 0 will start at 10:00 a.m. Scenario 1 will start at 11:30 a.m. We will provide Hamburgers and Hot Dogs for our mid-event break, please bring any dishes you would like to share. Don’t forget to bring water, a belt, bug spray, and some kind of pouch for your Dirks. As a reminder this year once you are checked in, we are asking everyone to try and stay in character. Only respond to your character’s name until the end of the day.

2023 Event #1 Updates

Greetings from the Woods,

As always I ask forgiveness for my tardiness. June 10th was a great success. Wonderful weather, a great turn out, fantastic adventures and good food. Thank you to everyone who could make it out, and make it so much fun. I will be doing a full recap of the day’s events in the near future (once everyone fills out their character journals). However there are three letters that arrived in the Myth Wood on the 41st of Skyld 1454 L.K. The contents of those letters are general knowledge for all characters, so I will include them in this post.

I look forward to seeing everyone in the woods again on July 22nd.

June 10th 2023 event

Skyld 41st of 1454 L.K.

Winter’s frozen grip on Myth’gar is receding. The green new life of the forest has returned. The peoples of Fehu, Black Home, D.O.U.G., Templum Bellatorum and Ramen have survived the months of Khaos, Magyk, and Rebyrta.

Now starts the season of the blade. All throughout the long winter, Void Heart and its wielder have brooded on ways to crush those that defied it. Fairen’Gar, the blade of the forest guardian, has been taken from the monsters. It is being safeguarded in Templum Bellatorum. Gnome mines have been opened for the gathering of raw Mythrainum and other precious stones. While the wall defenses of the Outposts have been strong, rumors of a weapon that can bring them down has spread across the Wood. Strange new caravans are entering the Wood from lands unknown, loaded with mysterious goods. One caravan is entering the Wood, from Val’Haven, with dire news that will change the order of balance in Myth’gar.

Welcome to the first Myth Wood L.A.R.P. event of 2023. We will start setting up at 9:00 a.m., Scenario 0 will start at 10:00 a.m. The first story scenario will start at 11:30.

Wyrd 24, 1453 L.K. Recap (September 24th, 2022)

Early Morning

Something odd was in the air on the 24th of Wyrd 1453 L.K. Both Vala and Nobu took note of the strange energy emanating from the gates that morning. Both took exception when crystal bearers not of Val’Haven or D’Eirsted walked through the gates. As with all Crystal Bearers they had no memories of where they came from or who they had been. Still, they had Crystals and they had solid form in Myth’Gar. These new arrivals Carl, Krale, Armani, Jim Pickles, Steven Nak, and Shoe, while having no memory of each other, still gravitated to each other and formed a group. District of Unionized Goons, or D.O.U.G. for short.

The Monsters lead by Visuvious had made a good showing of themselves on the 44th of Ordo, but few of them were about on the morning of the 24th of Wyrd. Visuvious had won Fairen’Gar at the tournament and it rested in Ramen, waiting for him to wield it. The protection of Ramen and its treasure was left to Draelich Bael, and Balthazar. To aid them in this was Salvatore Ramont, a new arrival who seemed to have arrived by normal means, not like that of the D.O.U.G.ites.

The Crystal Bearers of Dark Shire, lead by Tyrrin, were; Hrafngeirr, Ciara, Kamek, Oreillus, Seymorebuts, Jadan, Lee Harvey Bushwold and Dometheus, they found themselves with numerical advantage. This presented itself as a good time to focus on trading caravans and resource gathering.

The Crystal Bearers of Black Home, lead by Michal “Jim Jones”, were: Zander “the Mad”, McLaren, Cerise, Jay, Augustus, and Nectar, also with a numerical advantage. However, the defenses of Black Home were not on par with those of Dark Shire, so much energy was given to securing its borders.

The Crystal Bearers Azrael, and Knut Tzak were now residents of Templum Bellatorum Abbey. Azrael, after gaining the crown of the Fen’Alfar, was able to enter the ruins of Fen’Arwen keep. There he found he was able to summon an ethereal being calling itself “The Hunter”. The Hunter was able to either aid Azrael in battle or move resource gathering points around Myth’Gar. Azrael chose to have The Hunter move the shrine of the Sentinel into Fen’Arwen, thereby making it an Abbey. Azrael started his day learning as much as he could about his new Keep.

Mid Morning

At the Shrine to Blackheart, just outside of Trollmore, a sword had materialized. It was a large two-handed weapon with a massive blade and a black heart insignia engraved into the flat of the blade. It gave off an aura of power that called to many of the Crystal Bearers. A plaque next to the weapon informed the curious that only the Monsters of the Wood could choose who would wield the blade, Void Heart. The Monsters for their part seemed terrified of it.

This did not prevent Tyrrin, the leader of Dark Shire, from desiring it. The Monsters, led by Draelich, decided Tyrrin would be an excellent choice for the weapon. With both parties fully accepting the outcome, Draelich gave the sword to Tyrrin. Once in his hands Tyrrin seemed to go through a transformation of sorts. While his appearance did not change, his mannerisms and behavior did. He also began referring to himself as “the Blackheart”. The Monsters found themselves forced to obey his every command. When he said they would hide Fairen’Gar in Dark Shire, they complied.

The D.O.U.G.ites quested to form an Outpost. For this they would need resources, Dirks, and an Outpost Shield. To these ends the Crystal Bearers of D.O.U.G. completed Caravan runs, harvested food, and collected raw Mythrainum. Once they had enough resources they visited Knute Tzak at Templum Bellatorum Abbey to have their Outpost Shield built.

In their quest to build an Outpost, the D.O.U.G.ites ran into many of the other groups of the Wood. They aided the Monsters of Ramen in retrieving Fairen’Gar from the Crystal Bearers of Black Home. They also ambushed a caravan being guarded by the Crystal Bearers of Dark Shire. In these ways they made alliances with the monsters, but created hostilities with the other Crystal Bearers.

Tyrrin, now Blackheart, and his monsters arrived in Dark Shire and left Fairen’Gar there for safekeeping. The members of Dark Shire now found themselves without a leader as they realized Tyrrin was no longer in control of his body. After a quick meeting it was decided that Hrafngeirr would take over leadership of Dark Shire.

Hrafngeirr’s first decision was to inform Blackheart of his expulsion from Dark Shire. However before that was to happen it was decided Fairen’Gar should be relocated to Templeum Bellatorum Abbey. With that done the meeting with Blackheart was conducted. Blackheart was surprisingly non-violent about the entire thing and only requested to be able to retrieve some of his belongings from Dark Shire. When Blackheart discovered Fairen’Gar missing he left. Hrafngeirr and the rest of the people of Dark Shire, except for those guarding it, headed back to Templum Bellatorum Abbey to work out an alliance.

The Crystal Bearers of Black Home began and finished a quest to get a Rune Forge to the Black Tower. Their reward was the third and final piece of a bone crown. They had Knute Tzak reforge the crown, and by unanimous decision it was given to Michal. He was named High Priest, Leader of the Cult of the Black Heart. Which was not to be confused with the Blackheart, even though it was. They finished the defenses of Black Home and made alliances with other groups so those groups could use the Bank that was located within the borders of their Outpost.

Azrael had learned much from the Hunter. Primarily in regards to the Honor of the Six and the history of Gray Arrow Keep.  Knute, Orellius, and he undertook a quest to retrieve and install the Honor Bell within the bounds of the Abbey. They discovered the Black Tower was in possession of the Bell. So they aided the people of Black Home in taking a Rune Forge to the Tower. They were given the Bell for their efforts. They also discovered the Monsters, now being led by Blackheart, were questing to construct a weapon.

The Crystal Bearers of Dark Shire, Black Home and the Abbey join forces to prevent the Monster, led by Blackheart, and the D.O.U.G.ites from completing the mysterious new weapon. While the monsters were able to get almost all the supplies they needed, the horn blew before they could get everything.

Afternoon

Templum Bellatorum Abbey let it be known that they were reinstating honor duels as well as the practice of mastering the archetypical weapons types of Myth’Gar. Those being sword, ax, mace, hammer, spear, and spell ball. All who wished were welcome to enter the Abbey in peace. Those in the Abbey also stated that those that call the Abbey home; Azrael, Orellius, and Knute Tzak would stay neutral in all political matters in the Wood.

The Crystal Bearers of Black Home organized a raid on Ramen. They were able to successfully take the outpost shield. Later with some decent razzing within the ranks, the shield would be returned to the Monsters. However not before the Monsters tossed a cauldron of poison over the defensive walls of Black Home, killing many inside. A confrontation with the Blackheart proved that though he had control over the monsters of the Wood, he did not control the cultists of Black Home.

The D.O.U.G.ites completed several more caravan runs. They aided the monsters in retrieving their outpost shield. They partook of the Honor duels at the Abbey. They also completed the founding of their outpost, named D.O.U.G. in the location of the Wood previously known as Trollsmore.

Dark Shire held another meeting. It was decided to rename the outpost from Dark Shire to Fehu (pronounced Fae-who) derived from the runes for success and luck. Ciara of Fehu, who favored the use of a bow, headed out on a quest to get the bow recognised by the Abbey as an archetypical weapon. The people of Fehu also receive word that the Blackheart was once again trying to build a weapon of mass destruction. This news was also taken to the Abbey.

The Monsters of the Wood found themselves undermined and divided. While in the presence of the one carrying the sword, Blackheart, the monsters were compelled to obey the wielder. However once out of his sight the compulsion faded.  Draelich Bael, Balthazar and Salvatore Ramont, found themselves in a losing position. Fairen’Gar was locked behind the walls of Templum Bellatorum. Their outpost had been raided and razed. Though they had retrieved their outpost shield they had needed to make alliances with the D.O.U.G.ites to do it. Through the duplicit nature of the one called the Darkness they were able to poison the outpost of Black Home, yet still they found themselves in running skirmish after running skirmish.

At Templum Bellatorum Abbey, representatives of all the Outposts except for Ramen had gathered. They requested Azrael’s skill as well as those of all the denizens of the Abbey in the thwarting of the Blackheart. In a rousing speech Azrael answered them, nay. For in his opinion they had the numbers and skill to win without the Abbey’s aid. He also took the time to affirm that the Abbey had a stance of neutrality in political matters.

The Plan of the Blackheart revolved around making a magical staff at the Black Tower. For this he had learned he would need to get a lit rune forge to the tower, 4 pieces of raw mythrainum, a spare weapon of a type consistent with the striking surface he wanted on the staff. Finally, he would need one of the legendary hammers of Unmaking as well as a capable smith to use it. He and his monster subordinates had managed to get everything except the capable smith part. Everytime he did get a smith, the smith would get killed before making it to the safety of the Black Tower.

As the sun set on the 24th of Wyrd 1453 L.K., the people of Fehu and Black Home were able to prevent the forging of a new weapon. The Abbey had remained neutral, with Fairen’Gar locked within its walls. The outpost of D.O.U.G. was fully founded, with well established trade routes. Though Ramen was in dire straits, it still stood. All outposts were able to gather enough food stores for their population base to stick out the winter. With very few exceptions everyone chose to stay in Myth’Gar for the winter.

Aug 13th, 2022 Recap & Tourney Results

Ordo 44, 1453 L.K.

The day of the Tournament of the Six arrived with clouds and comfortable temperatures. The people of the wood practiced with the Myth’gar standard short sword until Visuvious felt they all had a good understanding of its use. When all was ready Vala and Nobu began the event.

The Tournament of the Sword lasted the entire day. With every Crystal Bearer in the wood expected to face single combat against every other Crystal Bearer of the wood. For Ordo 44 that number was 25 Crystal Bearers. The Tournament of the Lock also lasted the entire day. With people running between the three locations trying to pick locks as fast as they could.

The Tournament of the Arrow and the Magi were both mostly decided midway through the day. However, the events were kept open in case any late arrivals wished to take part. Hero’Win Metherin presided over the Tournament of the Magi at the Black Tower. While a young Gnome lass Emily kept watch on the people in the archery tournament.

Towards the midpoint of the day Nobu called for all who had signed up for the Tournament of the Gate. The Team from Black Home had the honor of first defending Eir’s Gate. They were able to hold it against two other teams. First the team of Dom’s rebels, and then against the team from Dark Shire. However, they failed to hold against the team of New Crystal Bearers. The New Crystal Bearers were not able to hold against the team of Virtuous’ Monsters. Likewise, Virtuous’ Monsters fell to team Templum. Team Templum was able to hold against not only against each of the other five teams individually but also managed to withstand all five teams at once. Though they did lose their shield while fighting all the teams at once.

After the mid day meal, Nobo began the Tournament of the Shield. Each of the current 4 shields were represented. The Shield of Dark Shire, Black Home, Ramen, and Templum Bellatorum Abby held a shield. After a slow start Templum Bellatorum took the Shield of Black Home. Ramen managed to get the shield of Dark Shire. Dark Shire and Black Home teamed up to try and get Dark Shire’s Shield back from Ramen, but were only able to remove it from Ramen’s control before the horn sounded.

As the day wore on and each crystal bearer faced the other in combat by Sword, a pattern developed. Visuvious of Ramen had lost no battles of the day, but had yet to face Azrael. Azrael of Templum Bellatorum Abbey meanwhile had lost to only Tyrrin of Dark Shire. As Azrael faced off against Visuvious the tension in the air was thick. After many exchanges Vala determined Azrael the winner. This was not good enough however because now both Azrael and Visuvious were tied. They were forced to combat each other again, this time for the title of Champion of the Wood.

The sun moved towards the west and shadows began covering the wood. Visuvious and Azrael squared off again. The first exchange went to Azrael. The second to Visuvious. The third and the fourth were mutual deaths. In the fifth exchange it was determined Visuvious was the winner. Then Gnome Tanner with his magic eye piece of images proved that the fifth exchange was a mutual death as well. Finally, in the Sixth exchange Visuvious landed the killing blow first.

The Tournament of the Six ended as so:

The Tournament of the Arrow was won by McLaren of Black Home. He will now be able to enhance one of his weapons with an elemental effect once per event for a year.

The Tournament of the Magi was won by Draelich Bael of Ramen. He will now have one additional spell for a year.

The Tournament of the Lock was won by Dometheus of Dark Shire. He now has first level lock picking for a year.

The Tournament of Gate was won by the team of Azrael, Visuvious, Oreillus, and Knute Tzak. They will have 200 dirks to split between them.

The Tournament of the Shield was won by Templum Bellatorum Abbey. They will receive 4 bags of food, 1 red, blue, green and white flower, and 20 refined mythrainum.

The Tournament of the Sword was won by Visuvious of Ramen. He won the title of Champion of the Wood as well as the relic sword Fairen’Gar.

The finial rankings for the Tournament of the Sword were as follows

  1. Visuvious
  2. Azrael
  3. Virtuous
  4. Tyrrin
  5. Knute Tzak tied with Carl
  6. Gideon
  7. Armani
  8. Jim Pickles
  9. Zander Quillswielder
  10. Jay

Aside from the tournament itself, the monsters of Ramen were able to corrupt the shrines of the Six for one scenario. Many honor duels were fought. Some rivalry was fomented between Black Home and the new crystal bearers.

All and all a wonderful day in the wood. Thank you everyone who made it out.

Ordo 9, 1453 L.K. (July 9th, 2022) Recap

The day began with an almost festive air. The sun was bright. The temperature was high. The woods were filled with sunbeams and mosquitoes. Yet the pleasant day hid an underlying rot.

The Great Rune chest had been opened. In it was the crown of the Fen’Alfar. Only one elected by the people of the wood could claim it, and with it the prize of Fen’Arwen. To this end an election was scheduled for the day. Everyone was to make their way to the Black Tower and vote. Any being of the wood, whether Crystal Bearer or Gnome, could vote. Who they voted for was up to them.

The monsters of Ramen under the leadership of the gargoyle Visuvious, had put forth their choice for the crown, Kamek from Dark Shire. This choice baffled many of the people of the wood, as Kamek was a kind and well respected member of Dark Shire. He had no history or connection with the Monsters of Ramen.

Meanwhile the name of the famed warrior Azrael was put forth by many. His skill with a weapon and recent decision to sever direct allegiance to any one outpost had made him a promising, non-politically, complicated choice.

While the voting took place, attempts were made to raid Dark Shire by the monsters, but the outpost was guarded well by its people and strong walls. This gave the people of Dark Shire a time of peace to practice and prepare for the future.

The people of Home managed to regain their outpost shield. With it they moved locations to the ruins of Fizbandurr. They founded the Outpost of Black Home. They then set about building walls similar to Dark Shires. As they were doing that they devised a plan to take the Outpost shield of Ramen. They were successful in this, but the monsters retaliated before the walls of Black Home were finished. The monsters made off with Black Home’s shield.

It fell to Azrael to negotiate a shield swap between the two sides. Though neither side was happy about it they did agree to trade shields. Now Black Home had its shield and strong walls to defend it. However, while this was going on, the monsters had been working on a much more diabolical plan.

The votes were in, and counted. Azrael won the vote with Kamek coming in a close second. Azmar came in as an honorable mention. In celebration of this, the monsters of Ramen invited everyone to Einherhar’s Rest for a show of talents. They had secured the performance of a traveling minstrel, Julia the Just…because.

Everyone showed up, with even the Gnomes leaving their shops, for the entertainment. Papi, for the occasion, opened a refreshment stand in the chapel in Einherjar’s Rest. Maggie opened a flower and vegetable stand, so the people could show their appreciation, or lack thereof for each performer.

The goblin Syph was the announcer. The first act was Julia the Just…because. She performed the song “Dragonslayer” on her Viola of Virtues. Many flowers were bought and tossed at her feet as the song filled the air of Myth’gar.  She finished to a rousing ovation from the assembled masses.

The next act was to be Syph reading the story, “Dragons love Tacos”. However, it was quickly observed that Syph was illiterate. So an innocent young boy stepped from the audience to read. For accompaniment, Visuvious the gargoyle spit fireballs into the air at appropriate moments. Though it had a rocky start, this act too was met with ovations from the audience.

The third act was the goblin Virtuous. He performed a standup comedian act. His jokes were found wanting by the crowd and many tomatoes were violently given to him. Midway through the act Azrael, who had voiced his mistrust for the monsters, took note of the other monsters leaving the area. Azrael tried to convince others to leave with him, but they branded him paranoid.  He chose to leave.

Shortly after this, Virtuous took an antitoxin potion, and then pulled a string on the wand he held. With a loud BANG! The wand exploded. Green mist filled Einherjar’s Rest. Everyone but Virtuous and the Guides were poisoned and had 15 seconds to live. Virtuous then proceeded to rob the bodies. The Monsters returned and finished off anyone who had not succumbed to the toxin fast enough for them.

Azrael had gone to Fen’Arwen. Nobu met him there and gave him the Fen’Alfar crown. With it Azrael was able to open the door to the ancient fortress. Inside he found old manuscripts and weapons of various designs. One weapon was a large sword. It was in a black sheath and leaning against a chest. As Azrael put his hands on it knowledge flowed from the weapon to him. The sword was Fairen’Gar. One of six relic weapons of the original inhabitants of Myth’gar. The sword could only be claimed if it was won in a tournament.

Also, in Fen’Arwen, was a warrior’s helmet and gauntlets. When Azrael picked up the helm a voice whispered a phrase. When Azrael spoke the phrase a warrior was standing before him with the helm and gauntlets on.

The warrior, referring to himself as the Hunter, informed Azrael that he could be summoned twice per day, with two lives per summoning. The catch was he needed to be given a purpose or he would vanish. Also, he could be used as a fighter with a spear or he could use his gauntlets to move things within Myth’gar.

Azrael chose the gauntlets this time, and had the Hunter move the shrine of the Sentinel to within the confines of Fen’Arwen. Then he had him retrieve a Rune Forge for Fen’Arwen. Finally, he had the Hunter move both a farm and a wood splitting stump to close range of the walls of Fen’Arwen. Then he released the Hunter for the day. With all the changes Azrael had made he also decided to change the old fort’s name. Templum Bellatorum Abbey, was founded on the 9th of Ordo, 1452 L.K.

When those slain by the monsters returned to the wood they regrouped at Templum Bellatorum Abbey. There Azrael gave a speech to all of them. In summary he stated that he would not fight for them if they were not willing to fight for themselves. The monsters had wronged them and they should stand up and defend themselves.

The people took the message to heart. Battle groups of four were formed and the hunt for the monsters began.  The first conflict was in Einherjar’s Rest. Though many Crystal Bears fell to the monster, they still were able to defeat them. At one point Visuvious the Vicious feigned injury so the people would lose interest in him. Then when they had turned away from him, he struck many in the back before fleeing into the woods.

Word was passed that Herowin Metherin had created a bounty ball for Visuvious the Vicious. A group of Crystal bears from Black Home got it first and tried to capture Visuvious. The plan failed but a group from Dark Shire took up the plan.

By the end of the day the monsters had been pushed back to Ramen, where they took up defensive positions and waited out the day.

Skyld 21, 1452 L.K. Recap

May 21, 2022 Recap

As a new season of adventure begins in Myth’gar, the returning Crystal Bearers find those who stayed behind did not fare so well. Those of New Townland who chose to winter in Myth’gar were found starving and in near incoherent condition. The returning and new Crystal Bearers chose to use magic and potions of healing to return their friends to full health.

Once everyone was healed in New Townland, the leader and second in command of the town, Azrael, and Oreillus abdicated. They then formed an adventuring group to head out on their own. They were responsible for opening the Crossroads Tavern to the public, so all of Myth’gar had access to healing potions.

New Townland, now under the leadership of Tyrrin, employed Knute to finish constructing the walls to protect the town from monsters. He did finish but not before the Monster attacked and made off with the outpost shield.

Meanwhile in Home, The Cult leader Mike “Jim Jones” Ratrider was the only one who chose to winter in Myth’gar. When Zander the Mad found him in a sick and weakened condition, he chose to dispatch him and send his soul back to the garden for healing. Once Mike returned from the garden, the people of Home made deals with the Monsters for peace in exchange for raw Mythrainum. Then they made a deal with Azrael’s group for flowers that McLaren had been hoarding. Finally, they started the first steps of trade by escorting a caravan through the Wood.

The Monsters of Myth’gar, now Crystal Bearers themselves, set about getting an outpost shield forged. With the raw mythrainum they got from the people of Home and the help of the Grand Forger of Champion’s Fall, they were able to do just that. With that completed they set up the new outpost of Golgatha on the ruin of old Hammer’s Hold. With that done they opened the public bank at the ruins of Fizbandurr, for everyone in Myth’gar to use.

The People of New Townland desperately needed their Outpost Shield back that Visuvious of the Monsters was carrying. To get it from him meant defeating him in combat. Instead of that, Tyrrin, the Arcane Blade, kept the monsters busy while Seymor, a new Crystal Bearer, ran to the outpost of Golgatha. Finding it undefended he liberated the monster’s outpost shield and returned it to the ruins of New Townland. In this way the outpost of Dark Shire was formed. The people of New Townland, were now the people of Dark Shire.

Dark Shire, now with protecting walls in place, had little fear of the monsters. To improve their Outpost they retrieved a Rune Forge and completed a smithy within their walls. With this complete the people of Dark Shire participated in many random quests.

The people of Home continued to facilitate trade by combining resources to create “jungle juice”, a special export from Home. Several of Home’s inhabitants ran afoul of Azrael’s group and were summarily hunted down and dispatched with extreme prejudice. Many of Home’s people also took part in random quests, some of which were responsible for them running afoul of Azrael.

The Monsters tried, in vain, to retrieve their outpost shield from Dark Shire. In the end they settled with using the New Townland’s shield for their outpost. Now naming their outpost Ramen. Some of the monsters now felt it was time for them to enjoy a random quest or two. In this way Virtuous became a purple bunny and wiped out all of Home. Visuvious passing by the carnage took possession of Home’s outpost shield.

At the end of the day the great Rune chest was opened. Inside was the crown of the Gray Elves. The character who has possession of the crown may enter Fen’Arwen.
